The Spiral Quest Part 3: The First Breath Anchor Installation: Earth Day 22nd April 2026
The First Installation: Earth Day, 22nd April 2026

The 1st Breath Anchor was installed on Earth Day, 22nd April 2026. 'Glyph number 5'
This was the only breath anchor that I was invited to choose the installation location for. Originally I felt called to install it on Iona an island near Scotland, with deep family connections there, described as a thin spot between heaven and Earth, and where my dad passed away.
However the short time frame in which to get permission, to make, install, activate it and travel there (9 hours of driving, followed by 2 ferries) before the 1st of May would have been too challenging.
Thankfully 2 of my wonderful friends were open to being Guardians of this Breath Anchor. They welcomed the installation to take place on their protected woodland, just outside of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
The Ceremony
We set off around 8.45am, it was a bit cloudy and breezy, so we set the intention for the sun to come out welcoming us as we arrived at the site. With total synchronicity the sun greeted us with it's warmth in perfect timing, ready to charge the quarts rods for 33 minutes in the woodland.
A Gathering with Intention
5 beautiful souls gathered together holding space, setting the intention for global peace and harmony.
Starting by smudging ourselves and the ground with Palo Santo, then anointing ourselves for protection using frankincense essential oil.
We prepared the ground to receive the Breath Anchor, then sat in a circle to talk through the ceremony. We then meditated with a cacao ceremony, followed by chanting "Om Mani Padme Hum" 108 times.
The Mantra of Compassion
One of the most sacred mantras in Tibetan Buddhism, Om Mani Padme Hum is a six-syllable invocation that carries within it the essence of compassion, wisdom, and liberation. Chanted 108 times; a number considered deeply auspicious across many spiritual traditions, representing the 108 earthly desires to be transcended and the wholeness of the universe; this practice becomes a moving meditation in itself.
Each repetition is said to purify a different layer of the mind, body, and speech, gradually dissolving the ego and opening the heart to unconditional love. Whether whispered softly, sung aloud, or counted on a mala, 108 rounds of this ancient mantra creates a resonant field of stillness and presence, inviting the practitioner into a deeper alignment with the sacred rhythm of all life.
33 Minutes of Silence
After the ceremony we lay down and forest bathed in stillness for 33 minutes, as the birds serenaded us with their song and the sun beamed down kissing our cheeks.
Why No Photographs?
The guidance was that this wasn't allowed to be photographed, to prevent disrupting the electromagnetic field after the activation.
We left the site in silence to allow the space to settle in harmony.
