We're very lucky to have been given 2 funded work placements through the Kickstart scheme! This gives young people between the ages of 16 - 24 an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, with the potential to gain employment at the end of the scheme!

Kickstart positions through DWP

Candidates for each of the following roles must be aged 16 to 24 and in receipt of Universal Credit. To apply for either position please speak with your job coach (via the job centre). 

These placements are 25 hours per week for 6 months, paid at the national minimum wage. To start as soon as possible!

 

Customer Services / Admin Assistant 

We are looking for an organised, friendly customer services/ admin assistant to join our vibrant team.

As a small business you will be required to help out with a variety of duties depending on what is needed, so flexibility, a positive attitude and the willingness to get stuck in is essential. Full Training will be given.

Daily duties will include but not limited to:

  • Customer services
  • Managing the diary, booking consultations and setting reminders
  • Responding to social media enquiries, ensuring nothing is missed
  • Calling customers and suppliers
  • Keeping customers up to date and informed 
  • Managing the live chat function on our website to answer customer queries 
  • Following up abandoned carts to offer customer care
  • Clearly communicating with other team members about customers requirements to ensure the smooth running of the business 
  • Collating information and setting tasks and deadlines in a clear and concise manner using Asana 
  • General admin duties 
  • Sourcing components, assisting with stock taking 
  • Helping out in other areas depending on what is needed
  • Identify areas that could be improved upon or streamlined

Social Media Marketing Assistant 

We are looking for a social media marketing assistant to join our vibrant team to promote a variety of our brands and services.

As a small business you will be required to help out with a variety of duties depending on what is needed, so flexibility, a positive attitude and the willingness to get stuck in is essential. 

Duties to include but not limited to

  • Creating posts for Instagram and Facebook
  • Promoting our varied business services via social media channels to generate sales
  • Working with other team members to generate ideas and strategies 
  • Creating content with our creative team
  • Creating and optimising ad campaigns 
  • Analysing and assessing the data to refine and improve each campaign
  • Communicating with other team members
